@FrediAndFred get a siberian cat from the newspaper or an orphanage. for the furniture problem siberians are not the typical scratchy play type. they usually lounge around like mine….but if it does become a problem go to walmart or store like that and buy a cardboard scratch board then put some cat nip on it. this only costs about $6.00 and they work amazingly well… also get an adult cat they are usually cheaper…
@yariyahaira Yep
i would like a siberian cat but my dad is a asshole and wont let me have one because he thinks its gonna be expensive and there gonna ruin the furniture. if anyone has some tips about this problem then let me know cause i really wanna convints him to get me that cat
@yariyahaira: Yes, they tend to shed a lot of hair.
@yariyahaira they do, thats why some people are still allergic. some people are allergic to CATS. so that fel d 1 shiz makes them allergic, which is in the saliva, and goes on the fur and yeah. that causes a reaction. but myself, i am not allergic to cats, im allergic to FUR. so dog fur, cat fur, monkey fur, any fur. so the siberian would most likely cause some reaction, cuz it sheds a shit load. my only options are the hairless ones. which are actually my faves
@rsa12985 damn >.<
So cute. I plan to own one of these gorgeous cats by the end of the year.
@yariyahaira the hair is not but for the allergies however they lost a lot of hair so you just have to be clean
@TheKayKayKid Between $800 and $1000. They are highly sought after right now due to it’s hypo-allergenic trait due to cat lovers ability to own one and non be allergic to them. They are not cheap by any means and $800 is the cheapest that I have found.
@TheKayKayKid I would like to know this too!
About how much do these cats cost?
@xcstacy2 me 2.
@demianslab i’m sorry but had a siberian cat for more than a decade + i lived in a country relatively close to russia and there was quite a few siberian cats living outside and they were doing just fine. As much as character goes most siberians are active, quite independent…… but yeah long hair getting everywhere is annoying
@momo1tm complete opposite??? hahaha then you never had a siberian cat my friend, please read the 3 comments i made then you can type whats on your mind.
@demianslab I had a siberian cat for many years and it was a complete opposite of yours. She was very active, hunted everything that moves (and sadistically killed it (im serious)). She was very independent, and aggressive towards everyone except me and few other people (very guard dog like in terms of interactions with other people). As far as survival goes siberian cats mainly live outdoors (in russia etc. and they are doing just fine) domesticated ones don’t always like being outside though.
my point is, siberian cats aren’t survivors, they need a lot of attention, love and dedication, my cats behavior is like a stuffed animal, a new born baby . I forgot……these cats suffers from some eye red discharged, i heard that they need to be only indoors, i don’t know about that cause he loves been outside.
Grooming, bath and nails are like $70 plus the food. (hairball dry food plus the wet food .Do NOTgive him regular dry food cause you will c vomit hairball in your carpet or floor ) If you are looking for a cat to catch rats or mice forget it ! they are pretty much like toys, these type of cats aren’t hunters ( just with lizards) i said this cause my girlfriend have a domestic cat and her cat can detect a mice in the roof while the other prefers to sleep lol,
I’m a very happy owner of a siberian cat, these cats are chick magnets lol, chicks love them, they fall in love with my cat, but the are high maintenance, i have to groom ( shave ) my cat every 6 months cause it gets very annoying the hair everywhere !! on my black clothes , carpets ,etc and you must groom the act everyday otherwise you will have a rasta cat ( dred locks ).
Do they get frustrated because of heat ( just like huskies ? ) or can they stand warmer temperature ( 28 ~ 30 )
I want a siberian cat soooooo badly
/cry
